SPRING CLEAN UP

As the winter months wind down, Gladstone Regional Council is encouraging residents to participate in this year’s The Great Spring Clean Up. From 1-15 September community members or organisations, businesses and schools are encouraged to collect litter from streets, city areas, parks, bushland and waterways to help improve our environment. Participants can drop off their Clean Up bag free of charge within dedicated laydown areas at Gladstone Transfer Station or Agnes Water Transfer Station at any time between 9am to 3pm until 15 September. Residents participating in The Great Spring Clean Up to register via the Clean Up website (www.cleanup.org.au) as soon as possible to allow for the delivery of a Clean Up kit prior to the beginning of September. After registering your event, Clean Up Australia will deliver you, your community group, school or business a kit, or kits, containing all the items you need to make your Clean Up event safe and impactful
