Hi, my name is Holden and I just completed work experience at Fresh FM.

The hobbies that I used to enjoy were running, playing soccer and I loved riding. That all changed on August 20th 2013 when I underwent shoulder surgery. I still have the metal plate in my shoulder today and the doctor clearly said to me that I can’t do any contact sports, so I had to stop playing soccer. I was devastated.

The best memory that I have is going to Vanuatu with my family. We went on Ziplines, a full tour around Vanuatu and I ate the biggest burger on that trip. Holidays go too quickly with the days flying by and sadly, it’s eventually time to go home.

The one thing that I want to be when I’m older is to become an aviation pilot.  There is a lot involved in obtaining a pilot’s licence and even more if you want to own a plane.  I have some experience flying a light plane at Caloundra Airport and I loved it!

Last week, I was impressed to learn whilst at Fresh FM when I was looking up some content for the Drive Show, that the Cassini Satellite took its last photographs of Saturn and its moons before NASA decommissioned it as it had run out of fuel. Decommissioning the satellite meant that NASA crashed the satellite into Saturn’s atmosphere.
