
Does your community group host, or has the ability to host, an event designed for young people? Then consider submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to Gladstone Regional Council to deliver a youth-led event or activity during Youth Week 2026 (11-19 April). Funding of up to $1000 is available per event to support a range of activities across the region.
Examples of events may include music, arts and culture, sport and recreation, creative workshops, wellbeing and mental health activities, leadership or skills-based sessions, community celebrations or youth forums.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a local organisation, not-for-profit, or business based in the Gladstone Region
- Propose an event suitable for young people within the 12–25 age range
- Hold or obtain public liability insurance and relevant Blue Cards
- Be able to issue a tax invoice to Council
- Priority may be given to ensure a diverse spread of events across the region.
Applications close at 5pm on Monday 23 February and must be emailed to communities@gladstone.qld.gov.au – successful applicants will be notified by Friday 27 February.
