GLADSTONE POPCON
Get ready—Gladstone PopCon is back and bigger than ever! Join the region’s ultimate pop culture celebration on Saturday, 13 September 2025, from 3pm–8pm in the Goondoon Street Entertainment Precinct, with events happening across GECC, Library Square and the Gladstone Library.
Expect a packed program of cosplay competitions and parades, workshops, guest speakers, market stalls, food vendors, and more. Whether you’re a die-hard fan, a creative cosplayer, or just love the buzz of pop culture, there’s something for everyone.
Character Crib Competition
Unleash your creativity by designing your own Character Crib—inspired by a superhero, a movie, or your own original story. Judges will be looking for the most imaginative designs, so get creative! Bonus points for Cribs that tell a story.

Registrations close Wednesday, 10 September 2025 at 4.30pm (or when spots are filled).

Collect your blank Character Crib from the GECC Box Office, 56 Goondoon St, Gladstone Central once registered.
