LOOKING FOR FUTURE SPORTING STARS

Young athletes who dream of representing Australia are being urged to take part in the Queensland Academy of Sport’s YouFor2032 Talent Search.

YouFor2032 talent scouts are travelling around the state, searching for young Queenslanders with the potential to be sporting champions. Anyone between the ages of 13 and 23 who loves sport and has the drive to succeed can try out at an upcoming testing session.

Local sessions are being held in Rockhampton on 22 October and 13 November and in Gladstone on 14 November. Athletes need to register to attend a session at qasport.qld.gov.au/youfor2032

At the sessions, talent scouts will match aspiring athletes with the sports that best suit their potential for elite-level success. YouFor2032 is partnering with 15 Olympic sports including athletics, boxing, cycling, triathlon and rowing, to connect potential stars with the coaching and support they need to achieve greatness.
