From now until August 31, you can nominate your favourite not-for-profit, sporting club, church, or community group for 91.9 Fresh’s annual Shining Stars campaign. Once your nomination is confirmed and your group appears on the official Shining Stars website (below), you’ll know they’re in the running — and you can start rallying support for the voting round.

Shining Stars is all about celebrating the passionate people and organisations who work tirelessly to make our region better. By nominating and voting, you’re not only recognising their incredible work — you’re helping them win a share of $50,000 in on-air sponsorship to grow their reach and impact.

Key Dates for Shining Stars 2025:

• Voting Open & On-Air Call Outs – September 1–11
  Cast your vote for the groups that inspire you, and go in the draw to win a ‘Larc & Lunch tour for you and the family!’ Plus, listen to 91.9 Fresh for live call-outs where bonus sponsorship can be won.

• Winners Announced – September 12
